WHAT is level of isat question paper? is it equal to iit or aieee how to prepare in such less days?

No One Knows as its a new born exam!!!

No one knows the Level of ISAT exam paper since its the first year of this exam. But yeah you can get to know what type of questions will come by looking at the sample questions from here

Equal to IIT JEE and AIEEE?

I dont think it can match IIT JEE level. Thinking practically it cant since India cant afford to have more than 1 toughest exams (in world)

But yeah it can be between IIT JEE and AIEEE level or of AIEEE level. Cant say much we can just predict.

How to Prepare in 3 days?

Since ISAT is on 16th April you just need to keep you mind fresh and revise formulas as much as you can. Dont touch any new chapters. Just revise the old stuff and practice you strong areas

this is the first time that the isat test is being conducted and there is no idea with any one on what is the standard of the question paper is going to be,
i would just advice you to prepare hard and not think about the standard of the question paper,if its hard it will be for all the students and not only for you,

we just cant say that which exam is tough and which one is easy.........it depend upon you thinking about that exam.....if you feel that aieee and iit is easy than isat then you will find it easy and vice versa............

so just think that all the exams are easy and work hard for that.....

Yes, it is the first time IIST is conducting an entrance test. Earlier IIST used to take students from IIT-JEE rank list and merit list.
No, qualification for admission will be entirely based on the ISAT.
About its level, it is expected to be more or less on the level of IIT-JEE.

ISAT exam is conducted for the first time in india this year. so it is a bit difficult to say that whether it is difficult than iit jee exam or not. but since the isro college is not less than iit in any specification, i don,t think that the exam will be easier than iit or aieee. also if you are having good preparation, then no exam will be difficult for you

Yes you can apply for IIST but check the below eligiblity:--
Minimum Percentage of Marks in Class X or equivalent examination is 70% while, those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must secure at least 60%.

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) Thiruvananthapuram will be conducting an admission test for its B.Tech Programmes in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences.

IIST admission test will be similar to other all India engineering entrance tests. Questions will be of the objective type and there will be two sessions of two hours duration each. It will be based mainly on the CBSE Syllabus of 11th and 12th standards for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The test will be held on Saturday, the April 16, 2011.

IIST Admission Test - ISAT 2011 online registration begins from 1st November 2010.

isat is based on the extended merit list of iit jee.so writing isat and or geting selected in the merit list will be given the same preference.the students getting selected in isat will be trained in the research centers at trivandrum and sent to isro(indian space research organization).

it is because in iit and aiee there are more no. of seats while that of isat is very few.
so as to get the best students the question paper is made very tougher so that the selection to the institution is made easier for the authority.............

" i think isat is matching the level of iit because of its standard questions. But more than that a person who can crack iit always crack isat"

As far as its report is seen its not so easy but in comparision to IITJEE but ya its some what tougher than AIEEE.Although one should not take any exam as easy each exam is tough in itself.So prepare for it as all other competative exam and you will surely get an good rank .

Dear student,

ISAT Exam is really tougher that IIT-JEE and AIEEE.
The reason is given below.

In ISAT, there are nearly 355 seats but in case of IIT-JEE, there are 9600 seats and in AIEEE there are about 26000 seats.

So, getting qualified in ISAT is really little bit tougher than AIEEE and IIT-JEE.

However, the difficulty level of all three question papers is nearly same.

Admission to the undergraduate programmes (B.Tech.) at IIST is made through an All India Admission Test called ISAT. The paper consistes of Physics, Chemistry and Maths each carrying 25 questions and is of 3 hours duration.Each question carries 3 marks while one wrong answer carries a negative mark of (-)1.

Basis of comparison of IIT-JEE, AIEEE and ISAT:

1.Paper Pattern

• All the three exams consist of objective type questions ONLY.
• While IIT-JEE and ISAT have +3 marks for one correct answer, AIEEE has +4 marks for each correct answer.
• All these exams give a negative mark of (-)1.
• JEE is of 6 hours as compared to 3 hours of AIEEE and ISAT.

2.Difficulty level
AIEEE consists of mostly conceptual questions and less of logical or application based questions. It can be said that 60% of the paper consists of easy knowledge based questions while the other 40% is of medium to high difficulty.
IIT-JEE on the other hand tests the aspirant's understanding of concepts than merely asking direct questions of concepts. The questions are tricky and are bound to make an aspirant think from every possible angle. The questions are of various types and consists of multiple correct and numerical based questions. 75% questions are difficult application based whereas only 25% questions are relatively easy.
ISAT exam also is similar to the JEE exam as about 70% of the questions are difficult and application based. There are 75 questions to answer in 180 minutes which gives about 2 and a half minutes per question whereas JEE has about 2 minutes per question.

VERDICT:
JEE and ISAT are of comparable difference but JEE still remains the tougher exams in all respects. AIEEE falls back as a relatively easier yet competitive exam.
