no not at all,i would suggest you to prepare really well try for competitions lik ias and ips,
you can also try for mbbs if you are having biology in your intermediate

This year the all the procedure are already completed ,if you have enrolled it then it's ok.

Otherwise go for the next year the application form will available from the mid of March or April.

The JIPMER, 2011 notification has not been issued yet. The other detailr are as follows:

Eligibility criteria:
Education - Applicant should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany/Zoology with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB for unreserved category (40% for SC/ST/OBC and a pass in English). Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply.

Age - Applicant should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31.10.2010.

Entrance examination:
JIPMER uses paper-based test administration (MCQ) for merit listing the candidates for the above admissions.

Important dates
Closing date for receipt of completed applications: 25th April, 2011, 4.30 p.m.
Entrance examination: 05th June, 2011, 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Counseling: 13th July, 2011
Commencement of course: 22nd July, 2011


Eligibility conditions

Applicants should have been born on or before 01st January, 1995

Applicant should have passed higher/senior secondary examination (10+2) with minimum 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and a pass in English for UR and 45% for UR-OPH and 40% for SC/ST/OBC

Medical entrance exam generally base on the concept of physics, biology and chemistry..
So for preparation for entrance exam first read you N.C.E.R.T book..

When read N.C.E.R.T books after that you can solve the numerical from the reference book like Pradeep, Denish, Modern ABC..

After that solve previous year question paper..
