Aeroplane Maintenance is a new career prospect in recent times. The number of flights operating in the country has grown multi fold. The job opportunity for a Mechanical engineer in this field is limited as this field requires specialized training. A mechanical engineer would be more appropriate for the design and development of the aircraft rather than the maintenance. The maintenance course is put together in such a way that the candidates have to study the maintenance of all kinds of aircrafts, which a mechanical engineer would not be aware of.
