what are the job oppertunities for mechanical production engineers in CBI and how is the selection procedures??

Crime Branch CBI (Central bureau of Investigation) is a specialized wing in many state police forces in India of their Criminal Investigation Department .

Other branches of the CBI are

• State Crime Investigation Bureau
• Finger Print Bureau
• and Scientific Section.

To join in CBI you need to write the CGPE EXAM conducted by UPSC...!!
and minimum qualification for that is to be Graduate..

So, you are eligible for applying CBI exam.

for that you need to have good physical strength also like any armed force..

Coming to salary depending upon your rank salary varies for example for Director Pay Scale: Rs. 26000/-

Dear friend,

To become a CBI officer, then you have to appear the exams conducted by UPSC. This exams is held generally once a year for the post of Sub-Inspectors of Police in Central Bureau of Investigation and the application forms and other particulars are published in the Employment News in the month of October.

Yes , B-TECH (MECHANICAL) are eligible for CBI exam.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CBI EXAM:-

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

You must be passed graduation from any recognized university.

AGE CRITERIA:

For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 30 years
For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST category candidates age should be between 21 to 35 years.

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

4 attempts for General category candidates
7 attempts for OBC category candidates
Unlimited attempts for SC/ST category candidates
