i am an mechanical engineer, i want to ask you some question about the jobs in railways,and what are the opportunities for mechanical engineers in the railways,and what are the jobs that we can find in public service commision and what are the government jobs for mechanical engineers

I am an mechanical engineer in final year now but i want to crack BPSC exam so how can i prepare for that?

Mechanical engineers have immense job opportunities both in public and private sectors. You can apply for jobs in private companies like Tata Motors, Mphasis, Infotech, Reliance energy and Infosys etc. Technical positions like Junior Engineer, Assistant Engineer, and Technician etc in Railways is another option. You can also apply for jobs in public sector companies like HAL, DRDO, BHEL, BEL etc. Opportunities also exist in defense services for which you should appear for CDS exam conducted by UPSC. You can also apply for specialist officer positions in public sector banks.

The candidates from mechanical engineering can go in the indian railways by giving the exam of IES, indian engineering services. After clearing IES, you will be appointed as a section engineer in indian railways. The IES exam is conducted by the upsc.
