Educational Qualification• Engineering Graduates (B.E./B.Tech) with specializations in Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Industrial Engineering / Electrical and Electronics & Telecommunication.

• Minimum 60% marks in aggregate at graduation level

• Mandatory to have completed the graduation degree in first attempt; without any breaks.

• 0-2 years of Work-experience

Candidates still pursuing the degree are not eligible

Key Skills & Competencies :Sound technical knowledge in area of education, basic knowledge of automobile industry, Good Observation Skills, Analytical Skills, Ability to articulate clearly and systematically, Written Communication Skills, Problem-Solving attitude.Age Criteria: Maximum 26 years as on 30 August 2010.Experience: 0-2 years of experience; preferably in automotive or process-related work areas.Location: Anywhere in India. Specific project location to be communicated at a later stage.

Youhave a good scoer in Btech and 10th you have less % is only in 12th but try for the Tata moter the give you a chance if you do well in th ewritten exam ..

First of all I want to mention the criteria for TATA motors. Here it is :

1. A candidate must have 60% aggregate throughout his carrier life, i.e. in 10th
12th and B.Tech. respectively.
2. have minimum 0 to 2 years experience.
3. must be from core department.

All these above three condition is acceptable for except condition 1. As you have not more than 60% in 12th which means you are not eligible for TATA motors.

But don't be tensed and panicked. There are so many small but good companies where you have to enter first to learn the job first and then go for big companies like TATA motors, ALSTOM, L&T etc.

all the best.

Normally TATA MOTORS want 60% throughout your academic career.
You have good marks in 10th and graduation but your 12th standard marks is not enough for TATA MOTORS.
So you are not eligible for TATA MOTORS.

Eligibility criteria for TATA MOTORS :

1.60% in 10th standard.

2.60% in 12th standard.

3.60% in graduation.

4.You must have CORE background

As you have secured less than 60% marks in 12th, then you are not eligible..

sir i am student of ei third year . I gets 68%in 10th 69% in 12th and 63.6% till second year of my b.tech in uptu frm anand engineering college in agra.

2.You must have 60% aggregate through out the academic career means 60%, 60% and 60% marks in 10th, 12th and B.Tech.

so,according to the above criteria you can not go for TATA motors.

so,you can try for any other company who takes bellow 60% marks.

Hi !
I have 75%in 10th, 67% in 12th, 60% in graduation but my first year MBA score is only 55%. Tata Motors r coming to campus for placements but will they look at first year scores to shortlist or do they count on final year scores? What are the chances that I get shortlisted for the written exam ?
