I will be completing my Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Can anybody list the different jobs available in Government Sector associating with my degree?

Diploma in Electrical Engineering candidates can apply for Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer entrance exam.

Academic qualification: Diploma in electrical or mechanical or civil engineering from a recognised board.

Age limit: 18-27 years.

There are two stages of this exam:

Written Examination.

Personal interview.

You can apply for Railway Junior Engineer Entrance Examination and Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer entrance examination.

1. For both exams, minimum academic qualification required is diploma in engineering. Electrical Engineers are eligible for both exams.

2. The age limit is 18-27 years. Reserved category candidates are eligible for upper age relaxation.

You will have to pass both written test and interview for final selection as Junior Engineer.

4) Tradesman Mate, Fireman in Ministry of Defence.

5) Safety Officer and Welfare Officer in Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL).

6) Airman (Group X & Y Trades) in Indian Air Force.
