About SET Examination -

SET Stands for State Eligibility Test and this examination was accredited by UGC and Conducted by University Of Pune As a state Agency, To apply for This examination you have to complete your Post graduate degree course with minimum 55% marks form a recognised university.

Final year Post graduate candidates are also apply for SET Examination.

The Notification of SET Examination was already Updated in the official website, But the last date of apply for this examination was already over, The last date of fill the Online application form of SET was 14/Sep/2011.

The examination was Going to be held on 27/Nov/2011.

To apply for this examination you must have Master's Degree from an institution recognized by UGC and you have scored minimum 55% marks in your Post graduation. The examination fees of SET was Rs 550 (For General candidates), Rs 450 (For SC/ST Candidates).

The pattern of SET Examination was almost same as UGC NET Examination.

If you have missed the SET Examination this time, then please apply for this examination next year, You can also apply for NET Examination if you have completed your Post graduation and Missed the SET and for more details please check the official website.
