NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conduct twice time in year by UGC.This test will be conduct for only lectureship , PHD and JRF .

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam but their is also some marks criteria.

If you have completed MA in English then you are applicable for NET Exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55% above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

NET Exam date for June session Already announced by UGC.So i have provide the proper exam notification .You can check it out.

For JRF ,The age should be below 28 years and for Lectureship there are no age limit.

NET stands for NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST conducted by UGC twice every year one in the month of June and other in the month of December for selection of Lectureship and award to JRF(Junior Research Fellowship).

Only Post Graduation Degree holder in any stream with at least 55% marks from a recognised University above the age of 19 years, is eligible to apply for NET. There is no upper age limit for those applying for Lectureship but those applying for JRF should be within 28 years to apply for NET.

The last date of on line application for NET has already been over which was from 21.02.2012 to 21.03.2012, the last date on submission of online application.

The last date of receiptof completed application including duly completed hard copy of on line application in the exam unit was 26.03.2012, and the last date of receipt of the same from remote area was 02.04.2012.

The date of commencement of NET exam is 17.06.2012.
