CPT : Common Proficiency Test

this is the most glamourous exam in the minds of today's youth.

the eligibility criteria of this entrance is

We have to first pass in senior secondary examination(10+2)

and also with regard to this level being pursued with formal graduation course like B.Com

Application process is

we have to register for CPT in 60 days prior to the first day of the month in which the CPT exam is going to be held

The Main/final examinations for this course at this level are conducted twice every year on the first sunday in the months of june and december the examinations are generally conducted on specified dates every year the dates do not change except under extraordinary conditions

Register on or before

1st april for June Examination

1st october for december examination

The CPT is an objective type exam of 4 hours duration divided in to two parts

To qulify in CPT a student has to obtain a total of 50% marks in all the papers together.

Application Form of CPT 2011 June was available in the Regional office and
Branch offices of the Institute and obtaine there from on cash payment on or from 4th April, 2011 to 25th April, 2011 till.

But now CPT application form filling date has been over.



CPT June 2011 Examination:– Sunday, the 19th June, 2011

First Session- In Morning 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM
Section - A Fundamentals of Accounting
Section - B Mercantile Laws

Second Session- In Afternoon 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM
Section - C General Economics
Section - D Quantitative Aptitude

Please tell me when the nexr cpt exam will be held and when the cpt forms will be available??
Also tell me about the company secretary cources and about its exams and forms abailable??

Is it fruitful to study chattered accountant and company secretary simultaneously ? If there is any demand in the future if I do both the courses..??
