* Candidate should take regular and periodic mock test in order to evaluate and examine the level of preparation.
* Candidate from the discipline of Computer Science and Information Technology should focused more on curriculum of BCA.
* Candidate should have fixed schedule for revision of studied matter on daily, weekly and monthly basis in order to better grasping and memorization of syllabus.

Paper Pattern
- Total Questions : 65
- Total Marks : 100
- 10 Questions will be asked from General Awareness & Other 55 will be from relevent branch subjects
- Nagative marks 1/3 for 1 mark question & 2/3 for 2 mark question

GATE Eligibility Criteria:-

-To sit for the GATE exam you need to be a Bachelor degree holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture. The duration of the course should be minimum four years. Even final year students can also give this exam.

-You need to be a Master degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer. If you are in the final year of such programme then also you are eligible.

-If you are in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master degree programme in Engineering/ Technology then you are eligible.

-If you are in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master degree programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering/ Technology then also you can give this exam.

GATE Notification 2016:

• Start of Online Application: September 1, 2015
• Last Date for form Submission Date: October 8, 2015
