hello sir !!! i'm in really in problem .. i'm in 12th commerce but i 'm interested in IT so i want to do bca ... i don't take maths in 12th , so tell me sir can colleges allow for taking bca or not and yes then tell me the list of collges that i can go for ...

actually , its not abig problem.you are in commerce line and you want to be in bca.
actually all the colleges needs maths in 12th.
but if you don't have maths.........then there is one more solution. to take addmission there with little donation. in some of that collegesa .

Dear friend mostly all colleges give admission in BCA after 12th and BCA is an IT course sot there is no need to do maths.

According to my knowledge, if you dont have maths in ypur 12th exams. Then no colleges will give you admission in BCA. But, if you have got admission without Maths in BCA then i think collegs is froad Or they are not affilated to UGC or AICTE.

So, if you dont have Maths and Computer Science in your 12th exams, then you can not got admission in BCA in any Top colleges.

But, if you got admisssion in any college, then your degree is not valid and you can not do MCA after completing your BCA.

So, without maths you can not get admission in BCA after 12th. So, please think about any other courses.................

as you don't have math in 12th then it will better to do BCA in correspondance course.

some universties provides this course like

1.sikim manipal university.

2.netaji open university.

etc.

other wise it will be better to do diploma in IT.

as you are really interested to do IT course so it will be best option for you.

Hey man, I am from Delhi and have done BCA from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. In my class, there were some students who didn't have maths in 11th and 12th, so you can get admission in BCA but there you'll have to learn maths as it's there in 4 semesters and your base needs to be clear for clearing those.

Hey friend why you worrying about that? You had not math in 12th level? Okay. There are still few colleges available which offers BCA with math or without math. These are
<n>1) IGNOU - AICTE approved, well reputed and well known to almost all IT MNCs.</n>

<n>2) SMU - I don't know whether SMU is AICTE approved or not. But it's a good university. SMU students get job in IT sector, BPO etc.</n>

<n>ICFAI university - Good college, no need of math. But you must be secured 40% in 12th. ICFAI students get campus interviews. So it's a good opportunity to get some job.</n>

But friend I will suggest you to go for IGNOU. It will the best for you. Though IGNOU provides distance learning method yet it's well known to all the Universities. You can do MCA after IGNOU's BCA. You will have to take MTE-03 as a subject which is a fully mathematics subject to make you wise about 12th math. One thing I want to make you clear that IGNOU is very much taugh. But it's onto you how you you study at home. So thats all I know. Wish you best of luck man.

There is no recognised college available for BCA because each college would require mathematics in 10+2 level . However one option is left which is doing BCA through distance education mode.
Many institute of distance education which offer BCA course allow students who didnt has mathematics subject in 12th class. Those students have to register in an additional programme-course like MTE-03(in case of IGNOU ) university.

sir,if i do bca from ignou but i can't take maths in 10 2 ,then can i do mca from a reputed university.

I beg to differ sirs, since there are colleges like the Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) at Ranchi and its extension in Patna, that admit even Biology students to the BCA stream. When in the stream, you are required to be well-versed with class 12 level calculus, so you will have to solve the NCERT book. It is not counterproductive, it helps. Moreover, the placement records are very good, including Wipro, SAP Labs etc.

i have no math in 12 class,but i have done BCA from iase university . can i do mca regular?

I think all colleges does not require Maths in class 12th for BCA..however for MCA it require so you try in any of college for doing BCA i think you will get admission...

There are very few colleges which does not require Mathematics for BCA,
very few colleges in India, i think they are in Chennai, so you can
these in Chennai.
