dear sir my son is in second year degree of mech. engg. in Nashik but due to some reason he has taken drop this yr. so he is free up to july i want your advice what he should do this during this time any course? any tranning in factory?

There is a craze for Computer Science courses now a days. Students from every department of engineering tend to learn things related to computer sciences, like web designing, project management, application development, hacking, etc. He must have done a course on basic programming in his first year. He can develop his coding skills further by learning these things.These are the basic needs for an engineer now a days.

There are other computer related things also that are beneficial for a mechanical engineering student. He should learn some stuff like machine drawing, car designing, structure designing, etc. These things are done using the softwares like Solid Works or AutoCad. If your son has some interest in Robotics then he can join some course related to Robotics.

These things are pretty interesting and always beneficial.

About training, there are no such trainings provided by the core companies or factories for a sophomore student (second year student). By the time a student reach second year he had only done the basic courses, which are not much related to the core work.
