if you write the aieee and iit jee and other exams such as vit you will get entrances in big colleges but if you have not cleared these entrances then you need to pay amount ot get seats in each of these college if you are a other state candidate

You can apply in the various private engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu through management seats and on the basis of your AIEEE rank in various govt. and private colleges.
The state technical university conducts a separate counseling for the admission of students in various engineering colleges on the basis of AIEEE rank.

HI,
If you want to take admissions in Govt. engineering College you have to qualify the exam like AIEEE, IIT-JEE etc.
If you want to take admissions in Private college you can take admissions in Management quota.
