In Tamilnadu, the intake of students to various engineering courses at various institutions will be held through open window counselling conducted by Anna university.

Students with good cut off marks in PCM subjects will be called for first phase counselling and the rest will participate in the second window counselling.

Almost all the engineering colleges affiliated to Anna university has reserved seats for students under sports quota.

The first three days in first phase counselling will be allowed for the intake of students under sports quota and PWD Category. The reservation for them is 4 percent.
