Dear,
basically in india The first priority for MBA is the IIM institutes and you can go for them through CAT exams,you can also go for XAT,MAT like MBA entrance exams to get a good reputed college.
IF you mean part time as a correspondence programme then it is useful if you are doing a job while your course,because it will add experience in your resume which will gonna help you during interview. but you have to hunt job by yourself as many of the correspondence course do not provide placements.
