i just completed my b tech in ece branch,i want to do m tech, please suggest me best specialization for good future

dear friend it depends upon the interest of an indivisual.

If you are interested in research field then you should go for M.Tech or if you have interest in being manager then you should go for MBA.

i think M.Tech should gej the first preference rather than other courses like MBA.

Doing M.Tech will add more career prospects for you. You can choose of your own from these options which way you want to go.

There are careers as JTO in telecommunication services like BSNL,MTNL, network analyzer, chip designer in VLSI technique etc.
Or even in the software industry also.
You can join universities as a lecturer.

After doing M.Tech, you can apply for these high-profile jobs.

Now it depends on you whether you want to make your career with your own branch or want to go other trend studies.

Good knowledge always lands you up into good future. Literally, doing post graduation always adds up to your career. I feel it is better to opt for MTech. because it is that you can excel in your own specialisation itself. Also MBA is not bad either.
This suggestion, I gave as you deliberately mentioned that you are opting for PG.

But, My frank suggestion to all those who complete graduation is, get hired to a job atleast for a period of 2 years before PG. Coz it is sure that you will get placed into a top institution easily and remuneration will be pretty high after PG.

The above is solely my opinion. Decision is clearly upto you.

i think doing mtech in ece branch would be good for you , if you have 60% aggregate in btech then try for IIT you can appear for jmet exam conducted by IITs for mtech admissions or you can do mtech from BIT meshra ranchi or bits pilani etc from any reputed university or college .all the best

well that you are opting for M.Tech

For better future you can go for specialisation followings


M.Tech (Enbedded System Design)

M.Tech (VLSI Design or Industrial Automation)

M.Tech (Electronics Engineering)

M.Tech ( Electrical & Electronics Engineering)

Besides these if you have interest in Programing then you can also opt for MCA B.tech (ECE) + MCA or B.Tech (ECE) + MBA (Telecom) are also best options at present.

hi friend,ofcourse the next persuing M.tech in E&C is a very good option for you to do,in there are many job oportunities are there.
so please opt for M.Tech in E&c only.

other than these subjects,electrical subjects are very beneficial,
try to go for these,they are current ones.
apply through gate.

There are lots of them and if you are really interested then go for MTech otherwise it wont take ur career to another level. So first make a commitment that you will work hard for those 2 years and get to the top

Micro Electronics,Electronic System,VLSI Design,Power Systems and Power Electronics, Communication or Networking related are also good

If you are really interested in making your carrier in technical field then Mtech is the right choice. also there is a great demand by the reputed companies for Mtech students. so there is a bright future for you if you do Mtech.

Of coarse M.tech is an better option
if u want to do something else than u must go 4 MCA in programming or area of your interest

yes,gate exam is there for m.tech.
m.tech is of 2 types:regular & part time.
any course in regular is fine.
today people are vying for part-time m.tech too.

For your M.Tech specialization, you will have two distinct options - you can pursue Electronics-related courses like Embedded System Design, Micro Electronics, VLSI Design,etc. or go for Communication or Networking related courses like Information systems, Signal processing, Telecommunications. As for the other options, you can also do Management courses.

Remember,it is you, who'll have to decide what's going to work for you - you will have to put your best foot forward to emerge successful in life so it has to be something you like and not anything that becomes a burden. Judge your aptitude, your inclination and take the final decision.

it depends on u that either u want to go for higher studies like M.TECH or u want to do job.

m.tech IS DEFINITELY A Good option. u can do m.tech in VLSI , embedded system design, microprocessor and microcontroller.

otherwise u can also apply for CAT and join MBA in your future.

Let me tell u, u r from technical field so go for Mtech.As u have done Btech in ECE then i will suggest u to go for Mtech.

U can also go for MBA in telecom, as the market of telecom is at booming state. there is a huge scope to get a good job in this field.

if you want to remain in the same technical line then you can do mtech or if you want to do something that is required in todays world, then you must go for mba. now a days all multinational companies demand for btech + mba. they are providing very good salaries to them. so it could be a good option for you.

i am not a b-tech but a bsc with physics hons. and now doing msc in medical electronics from calcutta university....but i want to change my field of study,so apperaring in GATE in ECE for mtech in applied optics and optoelectronics.............would it help me to get chance in research fields and also in the case of being a lecturer in tech-colleges???

if you wanna to do M.tech by qualifying exam like GATE after complete your B.tech

and also do MBA by qualifying CAT,MAT..................like this exam

yes M.Tech is good after B.Tech so that you can better job but if you do not want to studies than you can do job in PSU and apply for PSU. but i think M.Tech is better and it is depend upon your interest.
if you want to go in management field that you can do MBA

After completion of your B.Tech either you can continue with your present technical study by doing M.Tech. No doubt it is better for you if your are interested in your branch ECE.

Other wise i suggest you to do MBA, because the career as well as job prospect is very good in MBA & the market of MBA is very much rising now a days.

actually it totally depends on your own interest and what you want.
if you want to do higher study with your technical knowledge in technical field then surely go for M.Tech.
but if you want to join in any manager post then do MBA.
but i will suggest you as you are a btech student so you should go towards m.tech. may be after m.tech salary will be less than MBA but in mtech you can explore your knowledge of btech.

also you may join in job without higher study. think properly what you want after that decide the path.

yes M.tech is good after B.tech in ece.u should give gate examination 2011 n take Admission in good college.

If u want to go in technical field after ur postgraduation then doing m.tech is the best option.
But if u are interested to go in the management, then MBA is the best option.
So, judge ur interest and go for ur desired post graduation programme.

hi,
MBA is surely an great option after doing your graduation,and there is an huge demand for it in India,
but let me tell you one thing,if you want to do MBA its better if you do it from the best colleges other wise you will have to struggle a lot in your career,
for doing it from the top colleges you have to really word hard because the mba tests in India for IIM is considered the toughest test in the world,
even tests like XAT,SNAP,FMS,JMET are not easy to clear.
so change your attitude as early as possible and start working really hard

in computer science field the kind of job you get after completing b.tech and m.tech are almost same,there is no major difference,
if you are really interested in teaching field in computer science only then go for m.tech or it would be better to join job now and have valuable experience,
later on you can do mba ,and people having mba degree after some job experience of two years are high in demand in our country
