Re: What should I prefer after B.Tech? Should I prefer job or PG?
hello dear
see, if you are interested to work as a faculty or R&D cell of any company then you must do m.tech. although if you also want to do research oriented jobs, then M.Tech is compulsory. but if you are not interested in the above related work then it will be better for you to join in the any company. all the best........ |

This is entirely your decision to make. After the completion of the B.Tech course you can go for either a Job or you can continue your studies and can do masters degree courses. If you don't want to go for the M.Tech then surely you can opt for a job. Best Wishes.... |

Re: What should I prefer after B.Tech? Should I prefer job or PG?
after your B.Tech you have to first decide that in future what you want to do. you may want to work in industry till your retirement. you may think that you will go for research field or you may go for faculty or lecturer position or you may work in industry for few days and after that you may swap in faculty position.
according to your future aim you have to choose what you will do now. although higher study is always good. higher degree will not only increase your salary but also it will improve your position. if you want to work as a faculty then you must have minimum of master degree. so you have to go for M.Tech. also if you want to do research then you have to do M.Tech and then p.hd. if you only want to work in industry then B.Tech degree is sufficient for that. try to join in a good company and get some experience with this experience try to work good and go at the top of success. you may also join in industry after M.Tech also. if you are not interested in M.Tech but you want to do higher study then you may go for MBA study. MBA is study on management. if you are not interested in technical subject so much then you may go for MBA.after MBA easily you will get job good job with good amount of salary. job opportunity and scope is very high after MBA. you have to choose the most suitable way for you by own. don't be so much confused. just decide what you want to do in future then you will get answer about what you have to do now. best of luck. |

Friend it is totaly your parsonal matter that what will you do after complition of B.TECH.
According to your future aim you have to choose what you will do now. If you want to work in industry then B.Tech degree is sufficient for that ,but on otherhand higher degree will not only increase your salary but it also improve your position. And after doing M.TECH you may done PHD.And it is too much to gige a better position to you. if you want to do job the B.Tech degree is sufficient for that. if you are not interested in M.Tech or technical study, but you want to do higher study then you may go for MBA study. MBA is study on management and after MBA easily you will get job good job with good amount of salary because job opportunity and scope is very high after MBA. best of luck! |

Re: What should I prefer after B.Tech? Should I prefer job or PG?
Hi,
that depends mainly no your interest and family background. If you are from middle class family your family might be depending on you in that case you can go for a job . If it is not the case then it depends on your interest if you are not interested in your studies better go for job as job will be more lively than studies but the thing is your salary will be more when you get specialised in a particular field. Or else you go into research field too. |

if you are getting a good job with good salary then there is no need to do post graduation. but if you are facing difficulty in getting a job, then you must do m.tech or mba. doing post graduation always helps a student in getting a good job. in every interview, m.tech or mba students are always preferred over graduation students. for getting admission in m.tech, you will have to give an entrance exam of gate. for getting admission in mba, you will have to give an entrance exam of cat. both the courses are of two years each. you can take admission in any one of them. |

hi friend
look it depends entirely on your interest and needs that what you want to do further either you may go for a job or you can do further studies... well in my knowledge it would be quite beneficial for you if you do MBA in human resource as it is in quite demand engineering + MBA makes a really good option... all the best |

Re: What should I prefer after B.Tech? Should I prefer job or PG?
dear friend ,
after the completion of the b.tech its really an important decision to choose what to do next. it really depends on the choice. like if you are the student who wanted to know more things about your branch in the b.tech then the post graduation is the better way to gain the knowledge about the subject or the branch which you have in the b.tech and if you are interested to in the job offered to you by the different companies in the b.tech then doing the job with the good salary is also the best thing. many colleges offers good salary packages for the b.tech students. |

Re: What should I prefer after B.Tech? Should I prefer job or PG?
As you complete your B.Tech you have several options of higher studies given below :-
1) You can go for M.Tech in your departmental stream if you want to grow yourself up in technical knowledge and then you can go for Ph.D for research works. 2) But if you want to grow yourself up as a complete professional man with both management and technical skill then you must go for MBA. For the first option you have to give GATE exam and if you can score enough then you can make a entry into the following M.Tech colleges :- 1) IITs 2) NITs 3) Govt colleges like Burdwan University, Kalyani University etc. But if you cannot score well then you can admit in the private colleges. For MBA you have to give CAT/MAT/XAT etc. You can admit yourself in the following colleges :- IIMs, XLRI etc. |
