I M. Vishnu Vamsi, i got 420/470 in Inter first year. i want to join in vit college how much marks i get for joining in VIT College. how many marks score for VIT Entrance . and also is there any scholarship facility. if not what is the fee structure

Have more than 60% marks in board.
You need to scorre more than 65% marks in VITEEE to get admission
although it may vary according to paper standard and no of seats.

Schlarships are available if you make it to top 25 of the entrance exam.
Or even the the top 5 candidates from each state who take admission to the college are elligible for scholarships.

VIT - VALLOR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is one of the top technical institute in South India.The VIT entrance exam is meant for admission to various technical streams under B.Tech course.

You have to secure more than 70% marks or selection to B.Tech courses along with this you should have secured at least 60% marks in 12th to appear for this exam.

VIT Schoralship will be available to those who has secured their place in top 25 of the entrance exam.

if you apply through management ,you have to write a test

for getting admission in VIT first thing is tha you have to get a good score in VITEEE.
scholarship is available for top 25 scorer of entrance exam and also to the top 5 scorer of state board exam students.

how to prepare for VITEEE MTECH?which al the courses offered there?

Dear friend,

As there are now two VIT campus in vellore and chennai. So, you will get mechanical branch easily if you have rank till 4000 in VITEEE.

And also mechanical in VIT is really very good branch with high scope.

Dear friend,

Your result of VITEEE will come on 7th to 12th may, and you will get result with your rank.
If your rank is between 1 to 15,000 you will be called for counselling.
As now there is two VIT campus in vellore and chennai so ranks for counselling may go upto 20,000.

Getting admission in VIT university with 34000 rank through merit is not possible This year the top 20000 rankers have been called for the first phase of counselling.

Almost all seats will be occupied by these 20000 students itself and the remaining few seats will be kept for the management quota, so if you are willing to join VIT you may consider taking admission through management quota.

The following is the condition after the first day of counselling:



As you can see, more than half the seats are already gone in the Vellore campus and i believe almost all seats will go today. Or maybe a handful might remain which will get occupied tomorrow.

As for the chennai campus, there is a very slight chance that you might get the last few seats available or miss out by few seats. It will be safe to have a back up branch if you are attending the counselling on 18th.

Yes you can get electronics branch but for that you need to give entrance exam conducted by VIT.

Dear friend,

Yes you can get branch in VIT with this rank. As first phase of the counselling is over which was till 20,000 rank but still there are seats in Bioinformatics & biomedical branch[/U] only, so they allowed students to apply for these branches. till 50000 rank only students can apply only for any of these two branches.
So, if you are interested you need to send the xerox of DD of some amount to vit university and they will call you if you are selected and if not money will be refunded.

The fee for B.Tech in Vit university is different for management students and merit students.
Academic fee for merit students:
1,10,000 in First year
then 90,000 in second, third & fourth year

The basic criteria to appear for the VITEEE is that the applicant for admission should be a Resident / Non Resident Indian National.

The candidate must be qualified in any of the following exams:

• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
• General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) Level.

Also the candidate should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).

NRI Candidates can apply VITEEE-2013 online and enclose the DD of 50 USD in favour of "VIT University"
