hello dear,
Lok sabha can have a maximum of 552 members. At present, there are 545 members out of which 2 are nominated by the President from the Anglo-Indian community. On the other hand, Rajya Sabha have 250 members out of which 12 members have been nominated by the President from amongst the persons having special knowledge in art, science, literature etc. best luck.!! |

Lok Sabha: The Constitution limits the Lok Sabha to a maximum of 552 members, It includes not more than 20 members representing people from the Union Territories, and 2 appointed non-partisan members to represent the Anglo-Indian community. Rajya Sabha Membership in Rajya sabha is limited to 250 members, 12 are nominated by the President of India for their contributions to art, literature, science, and social services. The remainder of the body is elected by the state and territorial legislatures Members sit for six-year terms, with one third of the members retiring every two years. Thank you. |
