How can i get into that and from where i will get the admission form and how can i apply

Forms are out now, you can get the form from the regional office or institutes itself,and also from designated branches of different banks for diffenrt states.

Cost of form is 800/- along with prospectus,can be obtain from institute itself.Also by sending DD in favour of institute, payable at there respective states.

IHM banglore form in mba detail of admission proseudre

i have completed my 4 years degree program of hospitality management and now i'm doing management training from one of the hotels in delhi. what should i do after this? should i do Masters or should i continue with this line.

There are around 24 institutes providing training in hotel management which are affiliated to National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). Other than these colleges, there are other institutes run by hotel chains and Private institutes with foreign affilations. Please watch out for IHM notifications calling for applications separately. IHM Mumbai, Meerut and Aurangabad all call for applications separately.

Both of options are available and variable for you.

You can either continue with it, or can Enroll for Master degree also.

I think continuing is a good option, so that after acquiring 3 years of experiance you can enroll for Executive MBA program and this will be a good option.

Now dicision is your's

I think only IHM banglore offer M.Sc. Programme in hospitality and no MBA.So, better opt in some other institute.If you need a list of MBA offering management please late me know about it.

Hello sir, I am a fresh hotel management graduate from Kolkata. I have attained a 3 years Bachelors degree in International Hospitality Management (Hotel Management) from Edinburgh Napier Univeristy, UK. I am interested to pursue MBA programme in the related line (Hotel and Tourism Management or Hospitality Management, Travel and Tourism Management etc). Masters programme is though a different one indeed which I am least interested in. People, most of them, have suggested to achieve a minimum of 2 to 3 years of work experience in a branded hotel chain before doing an MBA in whichever field I am interested for.

Recently, I have searched a couple of colleges in Kolkata which are offering MBA programme in Hospitality and Tourism Management. One of which is offerng an MBA in Hotel Management, Tourism and Catering Technology under Punjab Technical University.

Please, with heartfelt request I would like to know as to what should I be doing at this stage of time being a fresh hotel management graduate. I am utterly confused and lost as to whether I should work or study more than work.

I think you have Completed your Bachelor dergee from IAM, Because it is the only institute in Kolkata which can get you a 3 years Bachelors degree in International Hospitality Management (Hotel Management) from Edinburgh Napier Univeristy, UK

And now I think you are talking about The Meridian School of Hotel Management. It is also good no problem.

Well if you dont have any issue with your parents that you have to work only etc.. and you are also financially strong then better go for Higher studies.

And MBA in Hospitality is good option there is nothing to think on it just go for it.

It is fact that higher study specially MBA will make your career prospect better then ever. But select the institute carefully because unless MBA is done from good institute it is waist to do that.

but when we talk about Management Training program the first thing which comes to our mind is OCLD, ITCs & TMTP. could you suggest which all hotels according to you are worth doing for MT. when the market has companies like carlson, hyatts, imperial, crowne plaza, Surya etc. and whether they have such programs also or not.

Well, I think ITC is a better option, because non other brand is better then ITC if we talk about MT.

Besides it if we take other companies into account then basically I have heard of Hyatt and Taj, which have MT facility and are among the best to compete.

For the form contact regional office or their site and also you can get from different branches of banks.
