what is the minimum criteria to apply for any psu or
govt jobs for a general student???
please tell me..

age should be 21 to 27 years old for general candidates
You should have 65% marks by the time of graduation with no backlog
Income certificate of father
all academic certificates

*Must be graduate from following trade:Civil,Electronics,Electrical,Mechanical,Chem ical engineering.

*Must have minimum aggregate of 60% in your graduate study.

*Maximum age relaxation for general candidate is 28 Years.

Following is the minimum eligibility criteria for government jobs:

1. Education qualification: Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university.
(12 pass candidates are also eligible for government jobs but for clerical cadre.)

2. Age: 18 to 30 years. No relaxation for general candidates.

3. Nationality: Indian.

4. A person of sound mind and body is eligible.

5. Candidate should be physically fit, a law abiding citizen.

6. Marital Status: Candidate below the age of 23 should be unmarried.

7. Gender: Applicable for Both Male and female candidates.

3-age 18-30.
4-candidate should be unmairred below the age of 23.
5.candidate should be mentally and physically fit.

For the general category student the minimum eligibility criteria in the various PSU and the various government firms are minimum of the 60% of the marks in the qualifying examination
and must have passed the qualifying exam from a recognized university or the board ...

And the age limit is between 21 years to 30 years for the general category student
But there age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for the SC/ST students

friend for applying in psu or govt. job ur age should be b/w 21-30 yrs and ur min. edu qualification should be a graduate.also for most of the psu the cut-off % is 65% though it may be higher than that also like for isro which is 70%. moreover at the time of writing the exam there should be no active backlog.

PSU i.e Public Sector Undertaking exam is vary from company to company.
For maximum PSU exam required at least 60% marks in graduation.
A engineering graduate student can apply for the Job in Bhel, ONGC, HPCL, NTPC etc.*

General Eligibility Criteria for PSU*:-

1) The minimum 60% marks in graduation, 10th and 12th.*
2) There are no any backlog at the time of appearing of exam.
3) There are no more then two year gap in the academic year.
