Minimum 50% marks needed in graduation to get admission in B.ed colleges. But if you really want to be a good teacher , try to get a first class marks in graduation.

B.Ed refers to Bachelor of Education and same is a professional degree course required by those who are interested in making their career as a teacher.

Further the minimum educational qualification required for pursuing B.Ed degree course is a bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized university. Marks relaxation of 10% is allowed for reserved category candidates in case of some colleges.

As far as you are concerned about the minimum marks required in matriculation examination i.e; Class 10th for pursuing B.Ed degree then there is no such requirement and for admission in B.Ed degree only marks in graduation degree matters.

No minimum percentage criteria in Matriculation is required for pursuing B.Ed course. To be eligible to get admission for pursuing B.Ed course, you should have to pass Bachelor's degree course in Science/ Arts/ Commerce stream with minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ ST) marks from a Government recognised university. So, your 10th standard board examination marks doesn't matter for taking admission in B.Ed course.

B.Ed is Bachelor in Education and it is 2 years or 4 semester course from a recognised institute.

The course is important for candidates who want to join teaching sector in future. The required qualification to get admission in course is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university with minimum 50%.

There is no limitation on aggregate of 10th and 12th std to appear in examination for admission in B.Ed course.

The full form of B.Ed is Bachelor of Education.

The eligibility criteria for B.Ed course:

1. You must have done bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for B.Ed exam.

Percentage of marks scored in tenth is of no importance in case of eligibility for B.Ed course. If you have 50% marks in bachelor's degree then you can apply for B.Ed entrance examination.

Look matriculation is not connected to pursue B.Ed. But in matriculation you also have to score good marks that should be 60% aggregate.
Graduation degree plays vital role to get admission in B.Ed.

Eligibility criteria to pursue B.Ed are as follows:-
Candidate must be a graduation degree holder from a recognized university in any stream.
Candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate in graduation.
There is no any upper age limit required.

B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education and the educational qualification required for pursuing same degree course is a bachelor degree in Humanities/Commerce/Arts stream with at least 50% marks from a recognized board.

As far as you are worried about the marks required in Class 10th i.e; in matriculation for pursuing B.Ed degree course then for your information there is no such requirement and therefore for offering admission in B.Ed only marks at graduation degree is taken into consideration.
