Minimum percentage required in all the subjects of B.Sc and overall percentage required to take admission in MCA course?
I am the student of B.Sc final year and want to know the minimum percentage required in all subjects - maths, physics and chemistry and overall minimum percentage required for taking admission in MCA course?

MCA stands for Master of Computer Application and it is two year duration course.
The examination is conducted for admission in different universities and institutions. The minimum eligibility on marks varies with different institutions. The minimum requirement to appear for NIMCET to get admission in NIT is minimum 60% from recognised university and relaxation for reserved category. So, visit the universities official website for admission in any respective institutions. |

MCA stands for Master of Computer Application which is three year post graduate degree course in information technology with great scope in the software world as the whole world is emerging digital.
The basic requirement for pursuing MCA degree course is a Bachelor's degree in any stream with Mathematics as a main subjects at both higher secondary and graduation degree level with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the same from a recognized university. The aggregate might vary with quality of institute in which you are looking to seek admission. So being a final year student of B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, the marks which only matters for your eligibility for MCA degree course is the marks in Mathematics and which must be at least 50%. For seeking admission in the NIT which are well known for the MCA degree course you will have to qualify NIMCET for which more details can be accumulated from its official link. |
