Postal Assistant Exam and Sorting Assistant Exam is conducted by the Department of Postal Govt. of India.The eligibility criteria for this exam is given below-

Educational Qualification :-

12th standard with above 60% marks from recognized board .

Age Criteria :-

Your age should be in between 18 to 27 years old.

General Knowledge
English
Mathematics
Reasoning

If you have completed 12th std with 60% marks from recognized board then you are eligible for postal assistant exam....

Your age should be in between 18 to 27 years old....


Exam Pattern:-

Total Marks- 100
Total no. of Questions- 100
Time Duration- 2 Hours.

This paper is Separated in Four Group that is A,B,C and D Each Group Content maximum 25 Marks......

Postal Assistant Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

The Postal Department of India conducts an examination to recruit postal assistants and sorting assistants whenever there is a vacancy for the same. To give this exam following criteria needs to be satisfied:-

• You should pass higher secondary examination or its equivalent from a recognized school or institution.
  
• You need to get minimum 60% of marks at 10+2 level.
  
• For OBC candidates the percentage to secure is 55% and for SC/ST candidates the percentage to secure is 45% of marks in aggregate.
  
• You need to know the local language of the state where you will be posted.
  
• If you have studied hindi at matriculation level even that would do.

Exam Pattern:-

The written exam is mainly objective type where you will get four options for every question. You need to complete the whole paper in two hours. There will be all in all 100 questions to answer. Each question carries one mark. So the total marks allotted for this exam is 100. Apart from the exam you also need to sit for a computer or typing test which will last for 30 minutes.
