Eligibility details for Postal assistant:-

The candidate should have to complete 12th standard with atleast 60%of marks from a recognised university.

Candidate must be a citizen of India.


Age criteria:-

The age limits are 18 years to 27 years,

Three years upper age relaxation for OBC category,

Five years upper age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates.

Postal Assistant Exam and Sorting Assistant Exam is conducted by the Department of Postal Govt. of India .

If you have completed 12th standard with above 60% marks then you are eligible for Postal assistant Exam .For OBC candidate marks required 50% and for SC/ST candidate marks required 45% .

Your age should be in between 18 to 27 years old.You must know your local language very clearly .

Postal Assistant Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

• You should have passed higher secondary examination or its equivalent of a recognized board or Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education.
  
• If you have higher qualifications that also will be considered. But you still have to fulfill the requirements mentioned above.
  
• You should have knowledge of local languages of the State.
  
• Typing Knowledge and Computer Knowledge is also required for this post.
  
• The lower age limit for giving this exam is 18 years and the upper age limit is 27 years.

Please Note:- It is important to have Typing skill in Hindi at the speed of 25 words per minute or in English at the speed of 30 words per minute.

Exam Pattern:-

1) 25 Questions on General Knowledge – 25 marks
2) 25 Questions on Mathematics – 25 Marks
3) 25 Questions on English – 25 marks
4) 25 Questions on Reasoning and Analytical Ability – 25 Marks
