Which is more preferable, either M.Phil or Ph.D? I've completed MA in geography
i just completed my MA in geography with first division marks and i want to do Phd bt im confused whether i should do Mphil or should do phd directly. nd which university should i join for my phd. plz help

Geography from University Of The Punjab,Lahor(Pakistan) in 2004...now i am much interested to get admission in M.Phil./Ph.D.(geography) in any Indian University like AMU,Aligarh...DU.Dehli...JNu...Jamia millia..Please inform me is it Possible...
