hi, im completing my BDS course. my internship is going on. can i do Msc in sports medicine after BDS ?

yes,
I think you can go for MSc in sports medicine. As you have don graduation in life science you can go for it. but there are few colleges which will provide this degree. |

yes you can do the spots msc,but you will do it only after the course bds will be completed, as this course is newly born in India so there is no any too much scope and not there are too much students interested in int. |

Duration of Programme: 12 months full-time, two years part-time.
Programme aims: The programme is designed to give a broad understanding of sports medicine, sports injuries and exercise prescription in healthy and disease states. It will introduce the key areas relating to sports and exercise medicine, namely; musculoskeletal and sports injury, exercise physiology, psychology, working with sporting teams and the promotion of physical activity to prevent and treat disease. Students will gain a thorough grounding in the management of injury and exercise prescription. This will prepare you for potential work in many areas from elite sport to NHS musculoskeletal clinics and community exercise services. Teaching will take place through a combination of formal lectures, practical sessions, clinics and field trips, and will be delivered by lecturers who are highly experienced in their field. Up to date, evidence based practice will be emphasised throughout and students' contribution through discussion is considered key. To attain the MSc, a research project must be completed, otherwise a Diploma will be awarded on satisfactory completion of the course and examinations. This course is open to both medical and non medical graduates with an appropriate background. Bursaries and linked resident medical officer posts may also be available. if you are applying under sports category should submit the applications with necessary documents in person at the office of the selection committee, Chennai. Without the required documents, their claim will not be considered under any circumstances |

Yes you can do M.Sc in Sports medicine
Now Admissions are going on at TNPESU for M.Sc sports bio-mechanics and kinesiology in July. Also, BDS is eligible for doing M.Sc in the following stream:- Anatomy & Physiology Medical Biochemistry and medical microbiology Medical pharmacology Oral biology Bio-materials All the Best |

go 4 these options :: 1.. MDS 2.. CLINICAL PRACTICE , 3.. MBA 4.. HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT 5.. ABROAD OPTIONS a) usa . mph, national boards, than dds b)uk. national boards c) australia. mph , adc , theory and practicals d) write adc from india in delhi, E) EASTERN COUNTRIES LIKE dubai. saudi etc 6.. clinical research , 7.. clinical trials it is again msc or diploma (ICRI ) ......................................… ................................. 8.GOVT JOBS. 9 ,, DEFENCE JOBS .. still ur facing problem mail me i can really help u in this to figure out ur future do not waste time. |

yes of course you can do M.Sc in sports medicine after doing BDS. In india,there are good future in sports medicine field. Afterwards,you also can do some management courses on the same topic. As you have done BDS,you can also set up your own established clinic and research institute. All the best!..bye... |

1)sir m BDS and some one told that option of biomedical will be gud as it can take us to professor level in colleges with good salary .. how much that is true?? i have searched alot on net but cant figure out proper details
