There are various Institutions which Conducts their own Entrance Examination for admission to their M.Tech program for such candidates who do not have a valid GATE score or Non - Gate candidates. However, Candidates must have completed the Bachelors Degree program [B.E / B.Tech in the relevant discipline with an aggregate marks as prescribed by the Institution of concern.

Following are the list of some of the Universities/Institutes, which conducts their own Entrance Examinations for admission to their M.Tech programs:

SRM University [SRM Entrance Examination - SRMEE]

VIT University [VIT Master's Entrance Examination - VITMEE]

SASTRA University [Based on the overall percentage of marks secured in the qualifying UG/PG degree, however, GATE candidates are preferred]

KIIT University [KIIT Entrance Examination - KIITEE]

Lovely Professional University [LPU NEAT]
