Can I get admission for MSc in Astronomy in IISc Bangalore on the basis of BCS degree?
Hi, I am Janhavi.I am studying in BCS 2nd year(Nanded). It is an degree level computer course. It includes all the subjects of computer science.I will complete my graduation next year i.e in2012. But I want to become an atronomer. I have completed my 12th in Physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology group. I think that, to become an astronomer I have to do MSc in Astronomy first and then complete the PhD in astronomy. So my question is can I get the admission for Msc in astronomy at IIsc banglore on the basis of BCS degree? If yes then How?
because I heard that to complete the MSc in astronomy one should complete his/her BSc in physics & mathematics. But my graduation is in only Computer Science. I really want to become an astronomer. Please answer my Question. |
