Hi

B.A is the Bachelor in Arts.

This is basically arts line graduation and so ANY person who had studied any stream in the 12TH can do this.
There is as such no Eligibility Criteria to do B.A .Just that you need to be a minimum 12th pass from a regular school or recognized state board in India.

So sure you can do B.A even if you had not studied Sanskrit in Class 12th. You may have problems in studying, but you can do it.

All the best

Regards

Hi,

It's not necessary to take Sanskrit in 12th for pursuing BA in future. But if you want to take Sanskrit in BA, then it will be good that you will opt for this in 12th too. As this will help you in clearing your basic concepts. If not in main subjects, take it as additional one.

No, it is not necessary to have sanskrit in 12th to do BA private. Only you have to passed intermediate or 10+2 from recognized institute or board. If you completed your 10+2 then you are eligible to da BA. Just go for it.
