Can anyone confirm me if is it necessary to qualify NATA 2017 also to take admission in B.Arch through UPSEE 2017?

UPSEE entrance exam is open to all candidates who have passed any of the qualifying exam of the Institute, so it is not necessary that only NATA qualified students can sit in USEE exams.

> UPSEE entrance exam fees is Rs 1200 for General candidates and Rs 600 for SC/ST candidates.

No, it's not necessary to qualify NATA 2017 Examination for getting admission through UPSEE 2017 Exam as UPSEE itself is an entrance examination. This Examination is conducted by APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. Candidates who are willing to pursue engineering/ management or medical courses need to apply for this UPSEE 2017 examination and there is no need of qualification of NATA 2017 Exam for getting admission through UPSEE exam.

In order to pursue B.Arch course through this UPSEE 2017 Examination, you are required to pass Intermediate or its equivalent course from a recognized board/ institute.

Most of the colleges accept NATA for admission and there are state quota seats for which UPSEE rank is necessary for admission. Hence, if you have appeared in NATA and have a good score, then surely you will be eligible for admission based on it. Counselling for NATA score holders is done first.

Hence, you should try to qualify NATA 2017 because most of the top institutes and colleges prefer it over any other score plus counselling for NATA candidates are done first. If you are not successful in NATA, then apply for UPSEE 2017.
