Yes, graduates are exempted from writing the CPT. CA course has got 3 different levels. The first level is a foundation exam which a candidate after 12th class needs to attempt. On clearing the CPT exam, one needs to clear the IPCC level. This can be attempted by only graduates. Those graduates who wish to apply for the CA course can directly appear for the IPCC exam without attempting the CPT level exam.

hi friend.........

The Central Council has announced
the allowance of graduates to IPCC
directly without giving CPT exam.
The eligibility is as follows:
-Commerce graduates: 55%
-Non commerce graduates: 60%.
So,you can apply for IPCC if you
have scored at least 55% marks.

so you can apply for IPCC exam

good luck
