I am sorry to say that, you cannot get National Institute of Technology in all India quota. Your All India rank is very low. The cutoff marks is 130 marks. Please tell us which state you belong. So,you have no chance to get NIT in your state ranks. You have to apply next year. GOOD LUCK!! |

Before I talk about your marks, just a brief introduction about what AIEEE is. Its All India Engineering Entrance Examination which is a national engineering entrance conducted by the CBSE ( Central Board of Secondary Education ) every year in the month of April for all the candidates who are just passing out of their Class 12th board exams. Its aimed at a common selection procedure for the numerous Engineering colleges in India which offer courses for graduation in B.Tech/B.E/B.Arch. So lacs of students take this exam every year and everyone gets a relative ranking as where they stand in the national competition. Talking of the top colleges which come under AIEEE, You would be surprised to know that NIT's i.e the National Institutes of Technologies are the top colleges and they fill up their seats at a maximum rank of 5000-7000. There are a few other good colleges who are full by the time counselling reaches calling ranks 10000. Now if you honestly compare your marks and rank i.e 124 and 53,000, I do not see any chances of you getting even a single seat in ANY OF THE NIT's. You have not mentioned if you have any quota, but still I would say that the chances of getting any seat in the NIT's are bleak for you. Hereby I am providing you a link which has the list of the colleges under AIEEE. Click Here for the same. Also you might be interested to know that the brochure that you had received also has a long list of colleges which accept the AIEEE Score. So once you get your scorecard, I would suggest that you shortlist the colleges, survey about them yourself and see the future value of your course if you do it from any of those colleges. Taking admission is easy, but living up to the course is what is needed out of you to do justice to the course. Hope this helps All the best Regards RANJEET |

You score very low rank in A.I.E.E.E. For Taking Admission on I.I.T you have to qualify the entrance exam with minimum 21,000 rank. You not get admissions in top engineering college. You can take admissions in low ranking college in your state.. But if you want you can try next time and score good rank and after that you can get admissions in top college. |
