my gate score is 585 & AIR -2172 in GATE 2012
presently i've been alloted M.Tech in vlsi&embedded systems in sardhar vallabhi NIT,surat.
pls suggest me "is the nit,surat better or else i should prefer any other nits.???

Well, you have offered probably one of the best NIT, but it ranks Third, you should try for these NITs above it.

~> NIT warrangal

which nit is better between nit bhopal n nit surat for the mechanical??n also can u plz tel me their rankings regarding mechanical??n between these 2 nit which provides good placement for the foreign students ?me frm Nepal.

NIT Surat. I am an alumnus and I can strongly vouch for the Mech department there. It is one of the strongest. In terms of exposure, probably Surathkal or Warangal are better, but NIT Surat is definitely one of the top level mechanical courses with fantastic labs and professors. There is even a constant named after a professor from there.

Go for it. The insitute has good infrastructure and placements. Its located in the middle of the industrial hub so off campus opportunities are good too.

Surat for sure.

3. Located in industrial hub - opportunities for consulting and industrial projects.

4. Good placements in core.
