In school, teachers say to study Tamil text books whereas, in tuition teachers asks to follow Tamil guide books. Please, help to know which one to be followed for best results?

Guide books have all the answers of the questions which are asked in text books. Also you will get some additional information from guide books. So i suggest you to accept both the books because the matter in both the books is same and you will get some more knowledge beyond your syllabus.

Study from Text books to pass your exams and to enhance your knowledge you can move on to guide books and extra materials.

It is best to follow Tamil Text books to prepare for your examinations instead of Tamil Guide books. If you study the text books, you can learn the concept and understand it whereas, if you learn the Guide books, you will learn the main points and you will not be able to know the concept perfectly.
