Re: Best WBBSE books for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics?
See, one thing that often goes unnoticed by the students or their guardians is that the text book is the best. That means whatever question that will come in the final examination of the 10th standard will come from the text book itself. So it is better not to study too many out of syllabus books. It is better to stick to the text books.
But what one should do is buy some reference books or question answer solution books on the respective subjects. These books cover the same syllabus as that of the text book. Only these books either have some extra information on the same topic as that of the text book or they have the same answer as that of the text book but in a more chronological and structured manner. From such solved books you get a general pattern as how to answer a particular question, which points to include in the answer, how lengthy should be an answer based on the marks awarded for its question, etc. So you can buy such reference or question answer books. Books that you can follow are 1) Ray and Martin for all school test papers 2) Sarin and Sarin(for chemistry) 3) Saynal Chatterjee(best reference book for biology) 4) K.C. Nag(for Mathematics). There are also standard reference books by Global Shikhsha publishers. You can also buy them. If you buy such books on the internet, especially in the website of shopclues, then such books will cost you mush lesser than its market price. They will only charge you for the shipping of those books. You can trying buying the books suggested in shopclues. |
