Re: Passed 10th in 1993, age 35. Eligible to apply for IAS? age limit?
I wont go into much details, but if you are a General or OBC candidate, then you cannot apply for IAS exam.
Age Limits: Candidate must be minimum 21 years of age as on 1st Augusr of the examination year. Upper Age Limt: For General candidates it is 30 years. According to Government relaxtions, Upper age limit for OBC candidates is 33 years and that for SC/St is 35 years. Now if you belong to the SC/ST category, then you maybe eligible. In that case you have provide the SC/ST certificate. Now your educational qualification is only matriculation as per the information provided by you. Now minimum educational qualification for IAS is GRADUATION. Now, since you have only completed matriculation, so you do not stand eligible for IAS. |
