Re: What is the age limit for women candidates to apply for IAS exam?
I.A.S stands for Indian Administrative Service and for recruitment as an IAS Officer the candidate have to appear and qualify in Civil Services examination.
The eligibility to appear for examination is that the candidate must have passed graduation degree from any recognised university and age limit to appear for examination is 21-32 years with relaxation for reserved category. There is no special relaxation in age for women to appear for examination. The examination is conducted in three stages and candidates have to qualify in all stages for final selection for job. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

Re: What is the age limit for women candidates to apply for IAS exam?
IAS stands Indian Administrative Service and it is the highest post which a civilian can achieve in the administrative field. Also to be an IAS officer one has to clear Civil Services examination.
Civil Services examination is held once every year by Union Public Service Commission in three stages which includes Preliminary test, Mains and Personal Interview respectively. --> To be eligible for same examination you must have the qualifications given here under : * You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 21 years to 32 years in case you belong to general category otherwise there is provision of age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. * You must have completed your bachelor degree course with any subject from a recognized university. As far as you concerned about the age relaxation of woman candidate then there is no such provision unless you belong to reserved category. For more details about the same examination you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in or www.upscexam.com. |
