Candidate seeking to pursue M.Sc in Botany from the University of Delhi must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

On the basis of Entrance Examination :-

• Candidate must have completed the B.Sc [Hons]in Botany or Biological Science from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% in Botany.
  
• Candidate must have completed the B.Sc General or B.Sc Life Science from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks and 60% in Botany.

On merit basis :-

• Candidate must have completed the B.Sc [Hons] Botany from the University of Delhi only with a minimum of 60% aggregate and in the main subject.

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe are allowed concession of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility requirements.
