Annamalai University is one of the largest universities of our country. The university offers postgraduate degree in Botany through distance education. The course is of two years duration. In the first year of the course there is a paper on “Angiosperm, Anatomy, Embryology, Tissue Culture, Developmental Botany and Applied Botany”. All the topics covered in this subject are   very important with respect to the study of botany. The pattern of the exam is given below.

There are three sections in the paper of Angiosperm, Anatomy, Embryology, Tissue Culture, Developmental Botany and Applied Botany. Section A has eight questions in all, each carrying three marks.  All the questions are to be attempted. The word limit for each of the answers is 50 words.

Section B has six questions, each of 6 marks. The word limit for this section is 300 marks. All the questions have internal choice.

Section C has two questions. These are essay type questions. The questions carry 20 marks each. Both these questions are to be answered in 1200 words maximum.  Both the questions have another question with them as alternatives.
