Person having weak eyesight can join CBI as SI?
If a person is having weak eyesight , can he be eligible for the post of SI in CBI ? If yes, is there any limitations for eyesight?

The requirements for joining CBI as Sub Inspector:-
You must having graduate degree with minimum 50% marks from any recognized University. Age should between 21 to 25 years. Physical fitness also required .If your eye vision lies 6/6 & 6/9 then you are eligible for CBI if lowest from it then you are not eligible. |

One can join CBI through the SSC CGL exam . The candidate who wishes to join CBI should have vision of 6/6 (normal) in each eye separately and should not suffer from Color Blindness defect.
The eligibility criteria required to apply for the exam are as under:- -The candidate must be a citizen of India. -The candidate should have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized board. -The candidate age should be in between 20 years to 30 years for general category. Upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. Physical requirements:- Height : *For male candidate - 165 cm. *For female candidate -150 cm. Chest: 82 cms with 5 cm expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates) Eye Sight : Distant Vision (with or without glasses): 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye. Near Vision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye. -Selection process involves of Written test , Skill test , Group Discussion, and Interview. This is to inform you that any candidate who is not physically fit whether it is related to any body part he/she cannot apply for CBI exam. As per your question is concerned each individual should possess

When I was in2nd class , I have operation my eye due to stone thrown in my eye . Now my eyes are ok , but when doctor see in my eyes there is a cut mark inside my eyes , thus it will affect my medical in future for SSC CGL
