Look dear, i think in PCM 60% is needed to seat for any engineering exam, but still this is a way known as management quota and you can apply through management quota. For private college you can apply through management quota and to govt college you can apply through certificate or scholarship because here in govt you can apply through management quota. Here are the list of both govt and private college as follows:

Re: Can I do marine engineering after passing 12th with 50%?
Hello friend,
The minimum eligibility for puruing Marine engineering is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The eligibility is required to write the entrance exam like AIEEE, IIT JEE for admission in different institutes of marine engineering. well, as far as the percentage is concerned, different institutes have different standards set for admission which is been taken into consideration after successfully qualifying the entrance exam. |

Re: Can I do marine engineering after passing 12th with 50%?
Admission to Marine Engineering Colleges and Institutes is decided through a common admission test held throughout India at different centers and 10+2 or an equivalent exam with physics, chemistry and mathematics is the eligibility criterion to take this exam. Beside the degree courses, Diploma Marine Engineering Courses are also available.
Whether you go for the degree courses or the diploma courses, there are some medical norms/physical fitness standards that candidates need to meet. For these and all other information, viist the sites http://www.webindia123.com/career/options/eng/marine/intro.htm http://www.indicareer.com/colleges-for-Marine%20Engineering-degree.html http://www.indicareer.com/colleges-for-Diploma%20in%20Marine%20Engineering-degree.html & http://www.indiastudychannel.com/courses/CourseDetails.aspx?Id=486 |
