CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation.

Those candidate who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CBI exam.

Age criteria :-

(i) Assistant Grade & Sub Inspectors in CBI –
Age between 20 - 27 years.
(ii) Inspectors of CE / IT & Divisional Accountants/Auditors/ UDCs –
Age between 18 - 27 years.
(iii) Sub Inspectors in Central Police Forces –
Age between 20 and 25 years.

CBI , Physical Standard for Male Candidate :-

i) Physical Standards ( Minimum )

Height 157.5 cms.
Chest 81 cms. ( expanded of 5 cms. )

ii) SSC Physical Test :

Walking : 1600 metres in 15 minutes.
Cycling : 8 Kms. In 30 minutes.

CBI , Physical Standard for Female Candidate :-

i) Physical standards ( Minimum )
Height 152 cms.
Weight 48 Kgs.

ii) Physical Test

Walking : 1 Km. in 20 minutes.
Cycling : 3 Kms. in 25 minutes.

c) Vision :

Eye-sight ( with or without glasses )
Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.

Yes, you are eligible to apply CBI officer exam after completing graduation with 72% marks.

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation.

This exam is conducted by the SSC under CGL(Common Graduate Level) exam.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate should be completed Graduation degree of minimum 3 years in any stream from a recognized University.

Age should be between 18 years to 27 years for General category candidates.

Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years

And SC/ST category candidates 5 years.

There is no minimum percentage of marks required to apply for SSC CGL Exam.

Selection process:-

Preliminary exam - Objective type.

Mains exam - Objective type.

Interview.
