Anesthesia also pronounced as Anaesthesia, is a Greek woed, which means without sensation.

P.hD in Anesthesiology is available in India, but only one single Government college whose named is, AIIMS(All India Institute of Medical Sciences), New Delhi.

Duration of the course:-

The duration will be from the Registration time period to the Thesis Submission.
The registration period of P.hD contenders registered from three to five years.

Eligibility criteria for Admission in AIIMS for P.hD in Anesthesiology:-

1) Academic qualification: Contenders must have qualified their Master degree in any stream or Bio Medical Science with at least 60% marks from any university. or,

Contenders must have qualified their Post-graduation degree in Nursing or, Doctor of Medicine or, Master of Surgery or, Diploma of the National Board of Examination with at least 60% marks from any university.

Contenders must have qualified MBBS degree with not less than 55% marks from any university.

Admission Procedure in AIIMS for P.hD n Anesthesiology:-

1) Written Test(Scoring 50% marks).

2) Departmental lab/practical/clinical based assessment.

3) Offer letter of Admission.
