I want to do anesthesia through distance education pl give me the full details.I have not studied inter but interest

You can not apply for any anesthesia course unless you can completed Intermediate. I am sorry but 10+2 is the least requirement to do any anesthesia course in India. I would suggest you to complete your school studies. Once you have completed the 10+2 there would be plenty of options for you which I am mentioning below for anesthesia course.

Anesthesiology is one of the most important divison of medical. It is study about the usage of anesthesia. Anesthesiologist is a doctor who has been trained to understand every aspect of the anesthesia. Such professionals are required to observe the impact of general and local anesthesia on the patient.

The role of Anesthesiologist is very crucial during operations. He/She has to monitor blood pressure, heart rate and breathing of the patient while doctor performs the surgery. Anesthesiologist role becomes more crucial because anesthesia can cause allergic reaction in the body of the patient.

There are several courses offered in the field of anesthesiology. These include:-

Diploma in Anesthesia

Bachelor of Science in Anesthesia

Doctor of Medicine in Anesthesiology

Post Doctoral certificate Course in Cardiac Anesthesia

Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia


In order to get admission in any of the anesthesiology related course, all candidates are required to appear in entrance exam. There are several entrance exams such as:

All India Common Entrance test

Entrance exam conducted by AIIMS

Entrance exam conducted by PGIMER

State wise Common Entrance test

Entrance exam conducted by Maharashtra PGM


Eligiblity

For diploma course in anesthesiology 10+2 is the minimum requirement.

UG - To get admission in any under graduate course related to anesthesiology you are required to have MBBS degree. Despite that some colleges may ask for your entrance exam score before giving you admission. The under graduate course is a 3 years long course.

PG - For post graduate course the eligibility is MD (Anesthesia) from any MCI recognised university.

I studied in Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore and did MBBS from University of Punjab Lahore in 1986, completed oneyear house job in Medicine and Surgery (6 months each)
and worked in Anaesthesia in Mayo Hospital Lahore for 13 months. Since then I am working in a missionary hospital as Senior Registrar Anaaesthesia for more than 26 years.
