i want to know whether physical fitness is also required for acio post or not.

ACIO stands for Assistant Central Intelligence Officers. As per my knowledge, yes Physical fitness is required for ACIO Post.

The required Physical criteria for ACIO Post are given below.

=> Height: 165 cm.

=> Chest: 81 cm

=> Walking: 1600 m in 15 minutes,

=> Cycling: 8 Kms in 30 minutes.

=> Eyesight: Distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes with or without wearing of glasses.

# Physical standards required to apply for ACIO post in Intelligence Bureau are :
-> Height should be 165 cm for male candidates and 150 cm for female candidates & 5 cm height relaxation for tribal candidates.
-> Eye sight should be 6/6 in one eye, 6/9 in other eye for distant vision & 0.6 in one eye, 0.8 in other eye for near vision.
-> Chest should be 76 cm without expansion and 81 cm with expansion for male candidates & there is no such requirement in case of female candidates.
# And Graduation is the minimum educational qualification required to apply for this ACIO post and knowledge of using computer is desirable.
# Age limit to apply for this post is 18-27 years and the age relaxations are as followed by government regulations.
