Yes certainly polymer engineering is a good course which has high scope. This is a course which uses the general theory aspect of that of a chemical engineering it self. But it is not equal to polymer engineering. Since in our country the polymer industries are high in number the demand for this course is also scaling up. But there is one limitation with this course. The opportunities for high level studies are very low in this subject area when compared to other engineering streams. You can go in for post graduation in polymer engineering through your score in GATE exam.
