Dear Sir, I am 50 years of age and I want to do LLB course through distance education. I have completed my BA course. So, I would like to know that is it possible for me to do this distance LLB course at this age?

Yes most definitely you can. There are many universities in India providing the distance education mode for LLB and you can easily get enrolled in any of them.

It is possible for a Bachelor of Arts graduate of 50 years to pursue Bachelor of Law course. Graduation in any stream is the minimum academic qualification.

LLB is Bachelor in Law. It is three year course.

The required qualification to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in discipline.

There is no age limit to appear for the examination. But, the distance LLB course is not valid by Bar Council of India.

So, it's better to pursue the course in the distance.

Bar Council of India does not recognise LLB course. LLB is three year course.

So, you are eligible to pursue the course at the age of 50 years but the degree is not valid for practice as an advocate.
