i have submitted online gate form.I belongs to OBC category.But i have applied in general category.Is there any possible to alter my category.

i dont think you can alter the application form that has been submitted...you can only change the examination center on payment of some penalty.

After Fill The Application form Of GATE Entrance Exams, You Cant Do Anything. So, If You have Submitted Your GATE Application Form Then You Cant change Your Category.

So, Dont Worry About it, Just Appear In The GATE Exams. At the Time of Admission, You can Explain Him That You have filled It Mistakely. If He Allowed then Its Better for You Otherwise You Cant Get Admission.

So, please Keep in Mind, Whenever You fill Any Application form Please fill It Correctly With Cool Mind. So that You cannot Find Any problem At the Time of Admissions.

So i dont think it can be changed.

Since before submitting the form online they remind you to recheck the form. So its not possible for you to change the category in your form.

Since its not possible for you to make any change from the form. But you can do one thing, you should contact to the concerned authority of exam. They will instruct you how to change the category of your form if possible.

In actual after submitting the form the exam controller also have no responsibility because you fill the form according to best of your knowledge. But the only way for you to contact to the concerned authority.

Is there any process to change the category in gate application form 2012 ??? or
Is it possible to get the paid money if i have not sent the application form by post???

I'm belonging to OBC(non-creamy layer) category but i still selected general category and the payment is done through internet banking. I wanna change the category to obc(non-creamy layer), is it possible???
And if it's not possible can i get the amount paid to "iitd" to my account as the application form not sent through post ???

sir i belong to OBC category but in application i kept as general. my score is 30/100 in gate 2012 and general cut off marks is 31.54b. OBC cutoff marks 28.39 . incase my category is change from general to OBC then i am qualifing in GATE 2012.
